Gary Hourn
Director of Hourn & Bishop Qld Pty Ltd

Gary has been an agent since 1988 having worked for pastoral houses in various roles and the locations of Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Baralaba, Warwick, Roma and Moura, where he has spent most of this time servicing the Dawson and Callide areas.

Gary's heritage is from the land having been born in St George Queensland where his parents and grandparents owned and operated cattle, sheep & farming property before moving to the darling downs in 1979 to a cattle & farming property near Clifton. On completion of secondary school Gary went on to complete a two year certificate in agriculture at Dalby Agriculture College. Gary is an accomplished and successful auctioneer and specialises in livestock and clearing sales within the Hourn & Bishop QLD business.

Gary Bishop
Director of Hourn & Bishop Qld Pty Ltd

Gary has been an agent all his working life. He worked for Elders for twenty five years, in that time he managed Mitchell, Roma, Taroom, Moura, and Rockhampton branches. Since the formation of Hourn & Bishop Qld he has run the rural property section and serviced a number of livestock clients with an emphasis on stud stock.

Fiona Hourn
Director of Hourn & Bishop Qld Pty Ltd

Fiona has been employed in administration roles prior to Gary joining the agency game in 1988. Since then has supported her husband while performing home duties etc until the establishment of Hourn & Bishop Qld where she has held an active role in administration and gained a licence to sell real estate.

Anne Bishop
Co-Owner of Hourn & Bishop Qld Pty Ltd

Anne had a long and rewarding career as a nurse. When Hourn & Bishop Qld was formed Anne took on the role as advertising executive for the property section. Hourn & Bishop Qld advertisements are well recognised within the rural scene.

John Crerar
Rural Property Consultant

John started out on a dairy farm in the Boyne Valley and ended up on a beautiful piece scrub country at Monto. In 2000 John retired and worked as a rural property salesman for Ross Munroe. John then joined Hourn & Bishop Qld. He has been successful in the property sales role and has built up a good following especially in the Theodore area.

Brad Hanson
Livestock Consultant

Brad has been a part of the company since May 2007. He began his career as a livestock agent in 2000 working for a private company in the South Burnett. Brad later went on to manage the Livestock / Real estate division for this company. Brad's family has been involved in the many facets of the beef industry for six generations including commercial grazing, stud breeding and butchery. Brad and his wife have their own property and operate a successful Brangus stud. Upon completion of his secondary schooling Brad completed an Advanced Certificate in Agriculture at the Burdekin Agricultural College, majoring in livestock. Brad then completed a trade qualification before starting in the livestock agency game.

Kerrie Hayes
Real Estate Sales

Kerrie is our residential sales consultant and has been with the company since 2006. Kerrie has worked and lived on the land, enjoys horse riding and helping out in the local community. She has been able to achieve her Real Estate licence and looks forward to servicing Moura and the local community in residential real estate needs.

Donna Clark
Livestock Administration

Donna has been employed with the company since 2004. Donna has lived and worked on the land and is part of a sucsessful family stud and commercial cattle operation. Donna is responsible for the livestock processing.

Cathy Phipps
Administration

Cathy has been employed with the company as an administration assistant, since the year 2000. Cathy has worked and lived on the land and had previous experience in administration with in the rural industry, she is currently completing her Real Estate Certificate.
